Gina Ng
Gina Ng has been a bilingual Career Counselor for the New York State Government at South Beach Psychiatric Center since 2005. She also works part-time as a Career Information Specialist at NYU's Office of Career Management and is a Career Advisor at the CUNY – City College. In fact, she created a career management program for CUNY - City College. Prior to working at these institutions, she was a College Counselor at Pace High School. When Gina is not career counseling, she is the Founder and managing partner for 2 business ventures – Dating for a Cause and Entrée Club, LLC. She has a fervent passion for the culinary arts, and is a past owner of a Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn, NY. She was successful in creating international publicity for the restaurant and has been interviewed by CBS News, Channel 12, Sino Vision, NY Post, AM NY, local newspapers, and a radio station in Colombia. In her spare time, Gina enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community. She was invited by Baruch College to be part of a panel discussing the topic, Generation X, Y & Boomers: Busting Stereotypes. Additionally, Gina is an assistant organizer for New York Entrepreneur Business Network (NYEBN), a group that has grown to 5700+ members in a little over a year. Gina received her Masters in Counseling and a Certificate in Career Planning & Development from NYU. She acquired her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the State University of New York at Geneseo. Gina is also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and National Career Development Association (NCDA). She was also the past National President of her sorority, Sigma Psi Zeta. Gina has her own private practice in career counseling. |
