Ming Liu, Foreign Service Officer, US Agency for International Development (USAID)
Ming Liu has been serving as the Regional President of NAAMBA's Washington, D.C. office since March of 2011. As the first regional president of the area, Mr. Liu bas been leading the efforts of establishing a sustainable resource for NAABMA members in the D.C. area. He has been a member of NAAMBA since its inception and attended the first annual national conference in 2009. Mr. Liu has a broad range of international experiences working for both private and public sectors in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. His experience includes working in Geneva, Switzerland as a consultant to the United Nations developing tools to help measure the impact of investment programs in developing countries. As a strategy consultant at Accenture, Mr. Liu advised clients in consumer products goods, technology and non-profit sector. Currently, Mr. Liu serves as a Foreign Service officer at the United States Agency of International Development (USAID). During his tenure at USAID, Mr. Liu has helped establish the new Inspections and Evaluations practice at the Agency. He has also issued Agency-wide recommendations to help reshape and improve USAID's environmental policies and procedures. Mr. Liu received his MBA degree from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and graduated manga cum laude from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. |
