Dr. Qiqing (Christine) Ouyang, Program Director, University Programs World Wide, IBM Corporation
Dr. Qiqing (Christine) Ouyang is currently the Program Director, University Programs World Wide, IBM Corporation. She is an IBM Research Technical Advocate for Aerospace and Defense Industry. In 2007-2009, She was the manager of 22 nm, 15 nm and 11 nm at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, responsible for defining the device structure for future technology generations. Dr. Ouyang joined IBM as a Research Staff Member in 2000. Her early work includes device design for low power, high speed RF and optical devices, and advanced CMOS integration. Dr. Ouyang is an IEEE Senior Member, and the recipient of IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Award in 2006. In addition to the contribution to more than 90 scientific publications in major journals and conferences, Dr. Ouyang holds 40 US patents and 16 pending US patents. She has received 15 IBM Patent Achievement Awards. Dr. Ouyang has delivered three IBM Corporate milestones and one IBM Research Division milestone. Dr. Ouyang received two B.S. degrees (double-major) with honors (top 2%), one in Electrical Engineering, and the other in Economics and Management from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China; the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana; and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas. |
