Ellen Shulman, Co-founder, CareerGenerations
Ellen is the co-founder and a Career Coach for an independent consulting firm in Silicon Valley as well as a Career Associate at Lee Hecht Harrison. She counsels individuals who are interested in a career change or in a career transition. Her clients are diverse and from a variety of industries including Technology, Financial Services, Business Services, Human Resources, Manufacturing, Law, Education, Not-For-Profit and Retail. Her area of focus is in strategic job search planning, personal branding and job search tactics using web 2.0 strategies. She is practical in her approach utilizing local labor market resources and believes in giving on-going support throughout the entire job search process. Prior to becoming a career consultant, Ellen worked as a Senior Consultant and Manager to Strategic Mindshare, a boutique management consulting firm specializing in consumer products and services. Prior to that she was in the retail industry as a Fashion Buyer, that imported goods from Asia, India and Europe and an Adjunct Assistant Professor tenured at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Ellen holds a BA in Communications from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and an MA in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University. |
