Lily Tang, Lead Director, NAAMBA Board of Directors

Lily Tang brings a broad portfolio of experiences as a consultant, educator, and entrepreneur to her role as Lead Director of the NAAMBA Board of Directors. Her commitment to NAAMBA’s mission to drive innovative, insightful, inclusive leadership in global enterprises is a primary motivation behind her dedication to philanthropy and building community.

Lily is active with a number of organizations including The Medici Group, a strategic consulting firm focused on innovative growth, and the FutureWork Institute, a diversity and inclusion practice. Lily has overseen organizational development projects for Fortune 500 companies across six continents in industries ranging from finance to manufacturing and healthcare. She has teamed with global NGOs to provide innovative solutions to human capital challenges in the developing economies of India and Africa. She is a member of the NeuroLeadership Institute, the Charles B. Wang Community Health Clinic Board of Directors and LEAP's cadre of consultants.

Lily is a former assistant professor of psychology at Union College, a former journalist for Forbes, and the retired CEO of an international business. Her background includes a doctorate in developmental psychology and a master's degree in counseling from the State University of New York at Albany; am MBA from Rutgers University and bachelor's degrees in psychology and art history. She lives with her family in New York. She enjoys gardening, hiking, and kayaking.
