Stanley Kwong is the Managing Director and Professor of the China Business Program at the School of Management, University of San Francisco. Stan’s areas of expertise are "Marketing Strategy to China and India" and “Competitive Global Strategy”. Stan has over 30 years of international management and marketing experience with organizations in US, China, India, and Central Europe. Prior to joining USF in 2009, Stan was the Worldwide Director for IBM Marketing where he had conceived and managed numerous marketing programs with operations in North America, China, India, Germany, and Russia. Stan was also responsible for teaching International Marketing at IBM Executive Development Centers. Stan joined IBM in 1979. In 1984, he started the IBM outsourcing organization in Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore. After China entered WTO in 2001, Stan was responsible for new growth markets in Western and Central China. Three years later, Stan additional duties included executive management training for the Lenovo team after the acquisition of IBM PC Company. |
