Julayne Lee, Sr. Reporting Analyst, UnitedHealth Group
Julayne Lee is a Sr. Reporting Analyst at UnitedHealth Group. Prior to joining UHG, she worked at SUPERVALU, Inc. where she co-founded and chaired the Asian Business Council and also co-created the first ever SUPERVALU Asian Pacific American Heritage Month poster. Before joining the corporate sector, she lived in Seoul, S. Korea teaching at Sungkyunkwan University and Hanguk University of Foreign Studies. In addition, she worked for Samsung and the Korea Press Foundation. She also taught secondary mathematics in the US. As President, NAAMBA Twin Cities, Julayne spoke at the 2011 Conference Kick-Off Event. At NAAMBA’s 2012 Global MBA Leadership Conference she facilitated the panel “Shifting Paradigm of Diversity & Inclusion: Diversity Landscape in Asia.” Julayne was interviewed by Diversity Woman magazine for their Spring 2011 feature on Business Resource Groups. In addition, she has presented at ECAASU (East Coast Asian American Student Union) at Duke University, the Mankato State University APA Conference, Hamline University and the United Way. In addition, she spoke on the Jobs & Small Businesses panel at the WHIAAPI (White House Initiative on Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders) Midwest Regional Action Summit and also at the Target All Twin Cities Event: Personal Success in a World of Constant Change. Serving on the Board of Advisors for MAASU (Midwest Asian American Students Union), she has facilitated workshops on leadership and professional networking & social media. Appointed by Governor Dayton to serve on the Council of Asian Pacific Minnesotans (CAPM), she is a member of the Government Relations committee. In May 2012 she represented the CAPM at the WHIAAPI State & Local Commissions Meeting and Leaders Briefing at the White House. Julayne holds a B.S. in Mathematics Education and received her MAEd from Hamline University. She is also a member of NSHMBA. Julayne enjoys film festivals, dining adventures, and SUP! |
