Thomas G. Zimmerman is a member of the research staff and Master Inventor exploring the frontiers of human-computer interaction at IBM Research--Almaden. His 40+ patents cover position tracking, user input, wireless communication, biometrics and encryption. He writes for Make Magazine, won a California Medal for Service from Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver for his work with minority high school students, and received his B.S. in Humanities and Engineering and M.S. in Media Science from MIT. |
