Jim Chow, Head of Apps Global Partner Program, Google Enterprise
Jim Chow joined Google’s Enterprise organization in 2010 and he leads and runs the network of 6000+ resellers globally for one of Google's fastest growing product areas, Google Apps. Previous to Google, Jim was Senior Director of Alliances and Channels for LiveOps and led and managed LiveOps’ Tier 1 channel partners as well as key strategic alliances with Salesforce.com, Accenture, and IBM. Before LiveOps, he was Director of Global ISV Partner Strategy and Programs for Oracle Corporation where he drove strategy and programs for Oracle's 9,000+ global software partners, specifically in the areas of business intelligence (BI) and enterprise performance management (EPM). Jim brings 20 years of strategic alliances, sales, consulting, and technical expertise in the high-tech sector at companies such as Accenture, Intel, Siebel, Hyperion, Oracle, Agile Software, LiveOps and several startups which he helped co-found. For over a decade, he has been involved in developing and managing global strategic alliances at his various companies and has won numerous company awards for his alliance contributions. Jim has been a board member of the Silicon Valley/Northern California chapter of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP) since 2006. As ASAP-Silicon Valley/Northern California President from 2008-2009, Jim led the organization to winning 4 prestigious chapter awards, the most of any of ASAP's 15 chapters around the world. Jim holds four degrees from MIT including an MBA degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management and Bachelor's and Master's degrees from MIT in Civil Engineering with a concentration on Supply Chain Management. |
