Chad Yoshinaka, Commercial Growth & Development Leader-Marketing, GE Capital Americas

Chad Yoshinaka is the Commercial Growth & Development Leader for the Americas pole of GE Capital, the financial services unit of the General Electric Company. GE Capital provides financial products and services to businesses and consumers in more than 50 countries. GE Capital Americas finished 2011 with a net income of $6.5 billion and assets in excess of $440 billion. In this role, Chad is working to expand GE Capital Americas’ sales force coverage and to equip the sales force with tools and technology to drive productivity.

Chad’s career in the financial services industry began as an underwriter in commercial lending. He joined GE Capital in 2001 as a Risk Analyst and after two years was selected to join GE’s Experienced Commercial Leadership Program, the premier development program for Sales and Marketing talent. After the program he held a number of progressively challenging roles in risk, integration and marketing.

In his last role, he was the Chief Marketing Officer for GE Capital Franchise Finance (GEFF) from 2009-2012. Chad played a key leadership role in the growth and success of Franchise Finance as the premier financier in the mid-market restaurant space. He led key initiatives in the areas of sales deployment strategy, data analytics, NPS and VOC, while driving improved sales performance. During this role, Chad was instrumental in GEFF’s transformation into a data driven business. Chad has recently been promoted to Commercial Growth and Development Leader for GE Capital Americas, where he will focus on providing sales teams better with tools, analytics and information.

Chad graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He grew up in Hawaii and currently lives in Connecticut with his wife Michelle and his two kids Brandon and Jessica.
