Karen Jaw-Madson, HR Director, Business Process & Technology/Global Shared Service Centers, SC Johnson
Karen Jaw-Madson is a lifelong student of culture, building her ideas through constant reflection and cross-fertilization of people, ideas, and experiences she encounters. She has been fortunate enough to have led and driven numerous transformation and turnaround initiatives from the HR perspective in large organizations, many in the global/international context. Her specialties include transformation and people strategies, organizational and talent sustainability, and the application of design thinking to work experiences. She has over 15 years of experience in corporate and non-profit sectors and holds a BA in Ethnic and Cultural Studies from Bryn Mawr College and a MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. When she is not working, blogging, traveling the world, or consulting friends pro-bono, she enjoys a wide variety of creative pursuits including music (flute and piano), metalsmithing, fiber arts and other crafts, as well as co-ownership of The Adelaide Gallery, LLP. |
